Supporting chronic fatigue and mental health to restore the spring in your step
Constantly feeling exhausted can take the joy out of daily life. Chronic fatigue and stress can manifest as brain fog, persistent tiredness, and reduced mental and physical resilience, impacting everything from your mood and productivity to your overall sense of well-being, leaving you feeling overwhelmed by daily, both mentally and physically.

If you feel like you’re always prioritising everything else or have been running on empty for a while, I’m here to help. Partnering with a registered nutritionist can be crucial in addressing your symptoms, as the solution is often deeply rooted and isn’t as simple as getting more sleep or going on a holiday.

There can be multiple reasons behind this, ranging from nutrient deficiencies, elevated cortisol to sex hormone imbalances, thyroid or blood sugar imbalances, or compromised digestive health. Our body systems are interconnected, meaning that one imbalance can trigger a cascade of others, leading to persistent fatigue and stress over time. Therefore, focus on a comprehensive, whole-body approach to uncover the root cause of your chronic stress or fatigue, aiming to create lasting changes in your mental and physical wellbeing and promoting longevity.

Understanding chronic fatigue and its long-term health impact
Chronic Fatigue refers to persistent, long-term tiredness that doesn’t improve with rest. It can be a symptom of many different conditions or lifestyle factors such as poor sleep, stress, poor diet, or underlying hormonal imbalances, thyroid dysfunction or adrenal fatigue.

Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS), also known as Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME), is a more complex condition characterised by long-term, unexplained fatigue that is not alleviated by rest. The fatigue in CFS is often severe, affecting day-to-day function and lasting for at least six months. In addition to fatigue, CFS can involve other symptoms such as muscle pain, joint pain, headaches, sleep disturbances, and cognitive dysfunction (often referred to as "brain fog"). The exact cause of CFS is unknown, but it is believed to involve a combination of immune system, neurological, environmental factors, and sometimes post-viral triggers.

Over time, untreated chronic fatigue can weaken the immune system, increase the risk of developing chronic diseases like diabetes or heart conditions, and lead to mental health challenges such as anxiety and depression. Left unaddressed, it can impact relationships, work performance, and overall quality of life.
It is important not to dismiss chronic fatigue, as, if left unaddressed, it can have significant long-term health consequences and may be a precursor to conditions such as adrenal fatigue, hypothyroidism, and immune dysfunction. Chronic fatigue can also contribute to the development of anxiety, depression, burnout, and metabolic disorders, further impacting quality of life. Our personalised chronic fatigue programmes are designed to help you manage your energy levels, address the root causes, and regain control of your long-term mental, physical and metabolic health.
